Home Sweet Home

For those of you who don't know, Eric and I will be spending the summer in Boise, Idaho. Eric has an internship there working for a law firm, doing exactly what he wants to do. It's a great blessing to us, and if all goes well we will be moving there for good after Eric graduates (working for the same firm). I tried my best to work things out so we'd end up in Oregon, but it wasn't meant to be!
Last year I took the above photo at Multnomah Falls, in the Columbia River Gorge. It's one of my favorite places. Since graduating high school I've lived in several beautiful locations, offering amazing fall leaves to majestic mountain tops. But to me nowhere will ever come close to the lush, fresh, coniferous beauty Oregon holds. I sure miss it!

Okay, Oregon is beautiful and all, but better than Idaho? I don't think so.

I took my kids to Multnomah falls last spring break and they LOVED it. To me, it's the most beautiful waterfall in the world! Oregon misses you, too!

I enjoyed your use of "coniferous" :)

Congrats! I bet it feels so good to have that decision made.

Breath-taking!! I really miss the beauty Oregon has to offer. I am glad to know you are closer now so that there is a chance of me seeing you in this life-time again! Thanks for sharing those pictures. Seeing them is what helps me feel closer to God!
Ps. If you have a hard time getting on my blog it's because I need your email address so I can add it to my list.

Oh, Oregon! At least you still have family there. I miss it so much. And the sad thing is that I am experiencing Oregon weather today without the benefits of the beautiful green coniferous forests all around!

So beautiful. You have convinced me that I need to take a trip up to that beautiful land and experience it myself.

I love all those people in that photo! Great photo! I couldn't help but notice how you all own cool t-shirts. :)
