Life Offline

It's been rough. Really rough! I haven't been able to blog for the past 3 weeks! I'm going through an identity crisis! How do I define my life without my blogging sprees? Alright it's not that dramatic, but life without the internet is hard for me. Eric and I don't own a t.v, so the internet is our only link to the outside world (that and radio). So if I don't post that often this summer, that's the reason. But know that I'm thinking of each and every one of you and you're wonderful blogs. And missing them.

Check out those thighs! I can't get enough of those chunky things. The other day our friend took some photos of Aspen before we left for the summer. Aspen's been really smiley lately, but for some reason whenever Ellen's camera comes out, so does Aspen's "I don't give no smiles" attitude. And boy was it strong that evening!
What is it with binkies? I swear there's some unwritten rule that you can only know where one is at a time.
We're trying to get Aspen on a sleeping schedule and it's been a little rough for all of us. This particular night I believe she was trying to tell us she'd finally had enough with our silly adult routines!
Amazingly, Ellen was able to catch some cute photos of her anyhow.

The Pants

This is a story about me and my pants. That's pants in the singular. That's right, folks, I only wear one pair of pants! For the past 2 1/2 months I've been wearing the same pair of pants, day in and day out, because they're the only ones that fit me. Now don't get too disgusted; I do wash them now and then. But when some baby puke or pee happens to land on them, I've been known to wipe away the evidence with a single wet wipe (usually when no one is looking). Please don't think less of me! I'm in between the maternity/pre-baby size, and there aren't any other options. Buying a new pair of pants that will hopefully be too small for me in a couple of weeks sounds wasteful, and so I am doomed to wear the pants for another month or two.

Boise or Bust

Next week Eric, Aspen and I will be headed across the country to Boise. We will be driving so wish us luck! We have made the trip twice already and this time will not be the last! We'll be driving back out to Mass. at the end of the summer and then once more out west after Eric graduates. The photo I've attached was taken on a backpacking trip Eric and I took on our first anniversary up in the Sawtooth mountains outside of Boise. It was such a beautiful hike! While we will miss Massachusetts and all of our friends out here, we are excited to be close to family for the summer (and in a drier climate!).
