The Pants

This is a story about me and my pants. That's pants in the singular. That's right, folks, I only wear one pair of pants! For the past 2 1/2 months I've been wearing the same pair of pants, day in and day out, because they're the only ones that fit me. Now don't get too disgusted; I do wash them now and then. But when some baby puke or pee happens to land on them, I've been known to wipe away the evidence with a single wet wipe (usually when no one is looking). Please don't think less of me! I'm in between the maternity/pre-baby size, and there aren't any other options. Buying a new pair of pants that will hopefully be too small for me in a couple of weeks sounds wasteful, and so I am doomed to wear the pants for another month or two.

you are not the only one...if you only knew how many women did that...I being one of them...Just within the last week have I started to squeeze into other pants. Someday I won't have to wear the same pants everyday.
Good luck with your pair of pants...atleast they're cute.

I'm there with you my friend! In fact, on the days I don't have to leave the house - I just stay in my PJ's! How pathetic is that!!

I have to say that while I did that for a while I got sick of it and had to buy more pants to feel like I could be cute. I wish you luck in getting to prepregnancy weight, but honestly if I had waited I would still be wearing that pair of pants (and Braxton is 6 weeks away from 2). Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Oh boy, can I relate. But I actually would say go get something to make you feel good now. It may not feel great buying a bigger size than before, but, for me at least, I could have almost worn out a new pair before a size change. It is sad, but true.

Hi, I'm Bethany's neighbor and clicked on your comment on her page and found your blog. Amazing how much snooping can be done on these things...!

Anyway, just wanted to say that I have "the bra"!

haha...this post really made me laugh! I was looking at Bethany F's blog and just clicked on you from a comment you made. As for the one pair, I was there too, so you are NOT alone! Isn't body fluid just really a mommy's accessory? :) I figured I would not just lurk, but leave a comment as well:) Great post.
