Visitors

I love this picture of my sisters Demri and Sasha. It was taken in the driveway of the house we grew up in before my dad sold it last year. They had just gone on a grocery run. When I was growing up we lived 20 miles outside of town, and so whenever we went to the store, etc, we would always say "I'm going into town...." This continued when I started college and was actually living in town. My roommates always made fun of me because it took me 5 minutes to get to the store but I would always say, "i'm running into town to go get some groceries....." Some habits never die!
Sasha and Demri are coming to visit in a couple of weeks and I can't wait!

That's so funny, because I always say, "You wanna run into town?" to Josh!! And we live "in town" which I consider to be a luxury. :) Although, now that we live "in town" we see the people that live on property like we all did growing up and say, "oooohhh, wouldn't this be nice?" :)
I miss you and wish I were coming to visit too! Have a wonderful time with Sasha and Demri. I can already hear laughter... :)

That is a funny story. I bet it was funny to your roommates. Because I know how far out you lived, and because my parents live "out of town" in the Suburbs of Rio Rancho (yeah explain that to me) I understand that whole 20 minutes to the grocery store. I now can respect the sacrifice it was to live "out of town." I miss those days.
