Kinnebunkport and York Beach

Saturday we spent the day on Maine's southern coast.  It was chilly and foggy, just as the coast should be (your talking to an Oregonian here).  We had heard the weather was going to be more agreeable, but what are ya gonna do?  We had a fun time anyway, walking along a paved cliffwalk, checking out the shops and grabbing some chowder on the way home.  See those beautiful rocky beaches?  I love that.  There's nothing like beautiful cliffs and rocks to break up a sandy beach.

That's funny...when I think of "the beach" I also think of cold, cloudy, and wet. Us Oregonians think alike.

I'm jealous. For the first time, I'll admit it. I'm jealous. It doesn't take much to beat Utah...let's be honest.

I am finally able to comment Chelsi. And believe me, I will. Great great pics! I didn't realize you got a new carrier for Aspen. That picture of her, she looks like a model. Her lips are freaking luscious! I really want to go to Main and these pics just make me want to go more!!!

I agree with you about the rocks breaking up the beach Chels! I have to comment on Lohra's comment (although I don't know that she will see it) there may be some ways that many states beat Utah, but you don't have to go far to see that it has it's one natural wonders. Snow covered mountains with all kinds of land to explore and drive a little ways south and you have the most beautiful red rock! Now tell me where you find that back East? Just proving that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
