Last Two Weeks in Review

The week before last Aspen and I hung out with our friends Sarah and Lilly.  Eric was away for the day for an interview at Columbia, and Sarah's husband Khale was out of town for the weekend.  So of course girl time was unpreventable!  We went downtown to a museum just for kids, and the girls had such a great time!  It was so fun to watch them play and explore in a space created just for them.  For dinner we ate at Au Bon Pain, which was delicious, and surprisingly it was my first time there (hopefully not my last!).  We had a great time!

Then last week our friends Dave, Nicole and Liam flew in from Florida.  Good thing they dug out their coats because it snowed the day they flew in.  We went on a drive the next day up to the north shore, and threw some pizza and ice cream into our day.  We also spent some time in Boston and saw Fenway Park, which Eric and I had never seen before (I know it's shameful).  Aspen ended up getting sick soon after our friends arrived, making poor little Liam sick as well.  So our plans had to change and the last day Dave and Nicole were here we walked to a nearby park and then went out to dinner (instead of spending another day in Boston).  Oh the joys of parenting!  We had such a wonderful time with them and are so grateful they took the time to come see us.   As Nicole would say, "good times...."!
