I've never had brussels sprouts, but I'm making them for dinner this week (imagine me biting my fingernails right now). Wish me luck!

Let us know how it goes. I'm nervous to try them too!

We've made them a couple times in the last couple weeks. They are pretty good with salt and pepper, and if you allow it, lots of butter. :) Or maybe even a little. We steamed them once and roasted halves in the oven the second time. Both were good. Good luck!

I like them! You could them like this:

Cook up two slices of bacon in a skillet, remove bacon when crispy. sprouts. Saute the brussel sprouts in the bacon grease until al dente, season with salt, pepper and garlic. Add in some diced purple onion, cook until soft. Add bacon back into the pan and serve 'em up!

Brussel sprouts are so good! Especially if you use plenty of butter. :)

I love 'em, as long as they're not overcooked!

OOOO brussel sprouts are our number 1 favorite veggie side dish! You can roast in the oven with olive oil and salt and pepper, or cut in half and braise on the stove in chicken stock for a nice long while, adding some thyme - delish!

I don't like brussel sprouts.

For marathon training, I used the schedule from marathonrookie.com and did a fair amount of research on runners world.com. My training lasted about 5 1/2 months and I ran a half marathon as well as the full. You should go for it!

I don't personally know what all the hype about brussel sprouts is! I like them and don't think they taste bad at all. But I guess that's just me! Let us know how it all turned out!
