Tuckered Out

Monday was Patriot's Day, a huge celebration out here. We woke up early to watch a battle reenactment in Lexington, and this little one wasn't happy about it! After the reenactment we had breakfast with some friends from church, and later in the day Aspen went with Mommy to watch the Boston Marathon. It was a busy day for her and on Tuesday (after getting her vaccine shots) she crashed. She's a much happier baby when her sleep isn't interrupted, as her parents found out the hard way!

It is amazing how much happier and more manageable kids are when we let them get their sleep. It's really hard work to be a selfish parent because kids don't much go for it.

Oh, those shots (although I know they're very good for your baby) kill me! I always make my husband take our kids for those, whenever possible!

Aspen is getting so big. I can't wait for you guys to come to Boise so we can see her. Make sure you let us know when you get here.
