Well we finally have our computer back and I've got a lot of catching up to do!  I don't want my baby to feel like we skipped over the first 6 months of his life :)  Six months!  Goes by fast.
Here's Aspen on her first day of kindergarten.  Doesn't she look cute?  The first month or two I would push her into the bathroom an hour before school and spend a good amount of time fixing her hair and getting her ready.  She looked very put together, every day.  Now?  If her underwear is clean, we're good to go!

Oakley took a pair of scissors to his (finally) long, adorable hair, right in front, right in the middle.  I think I blogged about this.  I let it go for a month or two, thinking I would just wait until it was longer and then trim his hair.  But it looked bad.  I mean bad.  So I decided to trim around it, but it looked even worse.  People would look at him, look at me, and then summon the courage to ask me if I had cut his hair, or......what.  Finally I succumbed and just cut it all off.  So it's short again; I'll post a photo soon.

Here's my little baby.  The smiliest, sweetest little thing around.  He's 6 1/2 months, on solids, and as blocked up as can be.  He's finally started enjoying prunes (as much as possible I guess), so things are getting better for him.  But he grunts a lot.....

Eric came home last night with an early Christmas present for me.  He's been wanting to get me an iPhone for a year now but I wouldn't let him.  "Why do I need one when I can just use yours?"  "Exactly," he would say.  I finally relented, thinking of all the candids I could get of the kids, and of not having to call Eric and embarrass myself when I was lost in the car.  It's been great, today :)
