Babies are people, too

What's with the public places that don't have baby changing tables?  The last couple days I've been to several, and it's driving me nuts!  Look at this little girl's face.  Recently this poor little thing has had to be changed on the ground outside, the back of our jeep, and on top of paper towels laying over just-mowed grass.  We went to a restaurant a couple days ago that didn't have a baby changing table, and I was so tempted to change Aspen's poopy diaper on top of one of the tables, smack dab in front of all the customers, just to get some attention (I decided against this for the sake of Aspen's modesty).  But seriously!  Don't babies and small children deserve to have a safe, comfortable surface on which to lay when they are having their duties done?

You have just hit on one of my biggest pet peeves! All public restrooms should have a baby changing station in BOTH the mens and women's bathrooms, in my humble opinion!

Aspens face is so precious! You can really feel her pain with that look!

I agree!!!

I was at Babies R Us the other day and had to change Adler. There was a big sign that said Mother's Lounge area. I thought, this is going t be great, I bet they have a great changing table.

I was SO WRONG! The bathroom was a dump and smelled bad. I was so ticked. If anyone should have a nice changing table it should be Babies R Us.

Our ward house doesn't even have a place to change a diaper. We use a counter in the "mother's lounge" or the counter in the bathrooms between the sinks. That makes me so mad. Mormon's are supposed to procreate... we should have a place to change the diapers of the results!

They should! But I confess that the only public changing table I've ever really used has been a) at the airport or b) at church. I hate thinking about how germy those things are. This product saved my life! I put it on the grass, on random floors etc. And I like knowing that I can lysol it down when I get home.

We went to the North Bridge visitors center and they had no changing table and I had to change Liam in the trunk of the car. I was so irritated, espcially because he fell down and hurt his knees while we were walking back to the car. And all this could have been solved by one stupid plastic table nailed to the wall. Grrr...
